2024 Robotic Competition at the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD)

A District Partnership Built on Vision and Growth
LITTLE ELM ISD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in North Texas, serving a vibrant and diverse student population with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. Their leadership has demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to education—one that aligns beautifully with the goals of the International Tech Games.
The district’s facility will serve as the host site for this year’s competition, and it is truly the ideal space for an event of this scale. The modern design, expansive layout, and flexible areas make it the best possible option for accommodating the large number of teams, families, educators, and volunteers we will host this year. From competition fields to team staging areas, the space allows students to focus, collaborate, and compete in an environment built for success.
As we look ahead, this partnership also opens the door to potential expansion of ITG programming into the Little Elm ISD district next season, creating even more opportunities for students to engage in hands-on robotics and STEM learning throughout the year.
💙 A Four-Year Champion: Credit Union of Texas
This upcoming competition is made possible in large part because of our long-standing partnership with Credit Union of Texas.
For the fourth consecutive year, Credit Union of Texas has stepped forward as a key sponsor—walking alongside us as the International Tech Games has grown in size, reach, and impact. They have witnessed firsthand the evolution of our programs, and the increasing number of students served each season.

This year, their support goes even further. Understanding the importance of meeting students’ basic needs, they will be serving more of our participants using their food truck to ensure that students experiencing food insecurity will not have to worry about meals during the competition. Their generosity allows students to focus fully on learning, competing, and enjoying the experience—without barriers.
In addition, Credit Union of Texas has continued to support students with special needs, making participation possible for families who might otherwise be unable to engage. This commitment has sparked the development of an entirely new competition concept planned for next year, specifically designed to create even more inclusive and accessible robotics experiences. 🌼 Welcoming a New Sponsor: Commissioner Alisa Simmons
We are also honored to welcome a new sponsor this year—Alisa Simmons, Tarrant County Commissioner.
Commissioner Simmons is widely recognized for her dedication to youth development, education, and community empowerment. Her work across Tarrant County has consistently focused on creating pathways for young people to thrive through access, advocacy, and opportunity.
Through her sponsorship, all teams from Arlington ISD will be fully funded to attend this year’s competition, removing financial barriers and ensuring students can participate in this high-impact STEM experience. This support reflects the shared values we hold around equity, access, and investing in the next generation.
Our partnership with Commissioner Simmons has grown over time, including past collaborations such as the Dallas Wings STEM camp. Those shared experiences have fostered a deep appreciation for the work we both do in the community—and reinforced the power of partnerships rooted in service and purpose.

Powered by Community “Angels”
As we prepare for competition day, we are reminded that ITG is made possible by an incredible network of community champions who generously donate their time, talent, and energy.
We extend heartfelt thanks in advance to:
Mark Anthony Collins, our DJ for the past three years, who brings excitement and energy to the competition floor
Angel Fuentes of Balloons With A Twist, who transforms our spaces into vibrant, welcoming environments
Torry Abra, Community Engagement Officer at Credit Union of Texas, who continually connects community leaders to our mission
And the many volunteers who return year after year, ready to support students, teams, and families
These individuals are truly the angels behind the scenes—helping bring our vision to life.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Excitement
As we count down to competition day, we are filled with gratitude for our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and districts who believe in the mission of the International Tech Games. This upcoming event at Little Elm ISD represents not just our largest competition yet—but a glimpse into the future of what is possible when education, community, and purpose come together.
If you want to become a supporter of this great event, it is not too late to join in on the fun! Click to donate or volunteer and we thank you in advance.
We cannot wait to welcome our teams and watch innovation, confidence, and creativity take center stage.
