Saturday STEM Academy: Immersive Technology
Welcome to the Immersive Technology Academy, an exciting four-week STEM experience where students become creators of tomorrow's technology. Through hands-on instruction, students learn to design interactive Augmented Reality experiences, build Virtual Reality worlds, and explore the exciting possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.

Rather than simply using technology, students discover how it works behind the scenes while developing valuable computer science and creative design skills.
Available Classes
AR/ VR Explorers
Ages: 8-11 years old
Unleash your imagination through augmented reality! Students will learn how to build simple AR experiences, create interactive stories, and design amazing 3D worlds. Using visual programming, they will develop coding skills while creating virtual museums, zoos, and science labs.
This hands-on experience encourages creativity, problem-solving, and exploration in a fun and engaging way.

AR/ VR Innovators
Ages: 12-16 years old
Take your creativity beyond the basics! Students will build advanced virtual worlds, create interactive experiences through coding, and design their own digital escape rooms. Along the way, they'll explore engineering challenges, develop virtual business ideas, experiment with AI technologies, and complete projects inspired by real career fields. This hands-on experience encourages innovation, collaboration, and the advanced problem-solving skills needed in tomorrow's workforce.
